Sometimes it’s nice to just sit down and go over all the brilliant things in life. The fact that there is chocolate and chai tea in the world. Or just those little happenings—a baby smiling at you in the grocery store, hearing your favorite song on the radio; falling in love with a book, movie or song all over again. Sometimes it’s just a memory that you play over and over again because you don’t want to forget it. And as you replay it in your head, you re-feel all the emotions of that time and moment. You discover things you’ve never noticed before

The beautiful moments…

They are the ones that make you pause to watch as they happen. Maybe it’s just the touch of a hand or that sparkle in someone’s eyes when they look at you, causing your heart to skip a beat.

Those are the moments I live for. These are the moments I want to remember. Because before a book or song is written; before a picture is taken; before a piece of art is painted onto a canvas; there are stories behind them—reasons for why they are made created.

Don’t just look at the surface. Look beyond. There is art and brilliance in everything.
